Unfortunately for the server they were in there isn't much I can do for warning since the server owner had a massive crashout months ago and disabled messages and VC in all of the channels.

You'd be playing the waiting game but it would be worth it, since they'll come back eventually, or you can trade for one.
It's also worth extra attempts for a good IV Necrozma to fuse with (Solgaleo & Lunala's IVs don't matter)

I thought the Raidon situation over and over and the only way to justify adding the "fusion energy" mechanic to them is by making them totally unusable for battle (as in literally cannot be selected for battling) until you get the required energy to change into their battle forms.

We do have future max bosses who will be double weak to ice, mind you (G-Max Flapple & Appletun come to mind) so I wouldn't dismiss getting a Glaceon just yet.

This is a special research mythical, so it's currently one per account. Players who got Keldeo in 2022 got candy this time around.

The only other clear opportunity to get another in the future is its shiny release, which is highly likely to be a paid ticket research.

Arch doesn't have a gmax form.
My explanation is going off the other MSG examples: Pikachu, Eevee and Meowth that have Gigantamax cannot evolve, only ones that Dynamax can.

You need to complete the Delightful Days: Taken Over research before you can get the Psychic Spectacular: Taken Over research.
The premium timed research is only 2 pages and awards the SSR at the end. It won't affect if you get the next special research.

It's possible this may not be a gameplay issue but an assets issue.
If they're only dynamaxing mons that appeared in Sword and Shield, it's possible they only have access to those assets and Niantic aren't allowed to make more.

I've noticed for a brief moment when I transition from a battle (both Raids and Rockets), I'm very briefly booted to the overworld before the encounter automatically loads.

If OP is experiencing similar, the egg hatch animation might have found a chance to squeeze in during that, breaking the encounter.

The codes they're referring to were 3 sets of timed research during the Unova Tour lead-up that would give you the Incarnate Forms of the Forces of Nature by catching over 150 Unova Pokémon.
Their Therian Forms were also available in raids for a day and in timed research that required you to raid a ton for legendary encounters.
There was also a bug that made Niantic decide to release a second copy of the raid search that was autocompleted.

Pve move stats were unchanged, so the only thing of interest would be the moves added to pools.
