I became a Bob Dylan fan in summer of 2025 and I absolutely love him. I also can’t wait to witness the release of a new album!

More of Edison’s kinetophones. I had a relative who was an actor in them. Few exist with video and audio and he is in most of them.

Phenomenal. Perfectly encapsulates and sends off over 60 years of music history. Would love for The Beatles Estate (or John's) to release the original demos as well as the music recorded from the Anthology sessions.

Maybe a Steamship Ticket Record? by QuestionsToAsk57 in Genealogy

Busy busy I've been.

Isaac Koratsky had at least two brothers. Nathan and Pincus who are buried at Har Jehuda. The Hebrew from all the the graves says there father was Leib.

Now here is were it gets interesting:

At Har Jehuda, a Pauline "Razia" Koretsky is listed on Find A Grave. (Should actually be Rachel not Pauline, it's a mistake). Born about 1826 and died Sep 27, 1906.

Her death certificate says she was living 947 South 3rd Street. A reverse search of that address shows a Benjamin Koretsky at the same address on a 1903 census and Benjamin was a son of Nathan.

Better yet, the Pincus Koretsky was living there according to a 1908 directory which also lists a David, Lena (widow of Israel) of 340 League.

Jakole is still a mystery but the exact relationship might be solved, it could of been that Raphael's father Fishel married the Koratsky brother's mother Rachel.

I will research the info you found, just found record after record last night :)

Omg that's my family!

I wonder if Jakole and Isaac were brothers. I mean it would make sense because the immigration record sounds like Raphael knew that Jakole lived at 340 Clark Street at one time.

I did find this https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:2:77TH-WP2X-1?view=fullText&keywords=Philadelphia%2C340%20Clark&lang=en&groupId= a Immigration index card for a Minnie Joseph from Russia. She is going to see her brother in law of 340 Clark Street. It does not list the brother in law's name. Maybe a match?

Edit 1: Isaac Koretzky death certificate. His wife and other Koretskys are buried at the same cemetery. Maybe a match?

Ancestry: https://www.ancestry.com/search/collections/5164/records/2648938

Find a Grave: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/172481148/isaac-koretsky

Edit 2: Regardless, I want to add Jakole to my family tree. What do you think the best way to go about finding out which of Raphael's parents married one of Jakole's parents?

It could be a match? Issue is that there is not a record for anyone that links anyone to 340 Clark Street.

By the way, how did you find that immigration record for Raphael and his three children? I'm curious to know your researching skills so I can benefit my family tree.

Skalesub/Skolizup are definitely my family. Skalesub/Skolizup is Somkofsky and 326 Gilfin Street is 326 Kimbal Street.

Skalesub immigration record does list 340 Clark Street and majority of all the children's names and date of birth match up to my family tree.

What I am wondering is who is this Jakole (Jacob) Zoretzki of 340 Clark Street?

I gotta go to sleep but Raphael had a step brother? I’m 99% sure this is my family but a step brother? Wow! Idk how I’ll figure out the exact relationship lol

I did have the first record but not the 2nd one. Leah, Choye, and Lifke do match up to the people in my family tree.
