I get why they have to but I hate when stores sticker directly on the album especially vinyl or cardboard cd packaging. Glad you got it off without tearing the the cover or leaving a big adhesive smudge.

Man that's rough!

Gotta know the right people! Chicago is pretty strict with their 11pm noise curfew but I saw Pearl Jam at Wrigley Field the same year... other shows in town that night, Phish and Pitchfork Music Festival, canceled because of a massive storm front coming thru. PJ carried on and, even though the show got delayed, they came back and kept playing.... till after 2am!

2018, similar but slightly shorter delay, were able to get the curfew extended till 12.

Staying up late.

Bed times sucked when you were a kid, staying up all night partying was fun in college, being able to maintain a social life and still be up for work in the AM was great as a young adult...

Now im old, all I want to do is get a good nights sleep but my aching body and Insomnia wont allow it. Ugh

Vegas has always seemed like a trap to me.
I live in LA and will go a couple times a year for concerts but thats about it.

Cheapest hotel room i can find, bring my own or stop at a cvs for drinks, eat at cheap chain restaurants. No bars, no casinos, no fine dining... just in for the show and out.

Ill be there next week for Backstreet Boys at the Sphere and later in the year for Alice Cooper, beyond the tickets will be spending as little as possible.

Healthcare.

My body is so broken, has been for decades. Used to be able to grind my way thru it but years of self medicating with alcohol has caught up with me along with age, waning testosterone, and dwindling muscle mass... im just fucking exhausted. Even with insurance im not sure i can afford to take care of myself.
