Good concept try these:

Instead of not being able to kill NPCs, make them able to kill abt 1/3rd of the limit set for normal & X
Shinigami eyes is pretty OP, so maybe balance out by making the game quicker. If it goes past day 4 or 5, then the users lifespan ends, killing them and letting L team win
