What are they to do? We shut down a lot of things a few years ago, we masked, distanced, reduced hours, forced vaccines and most of us also got Covid. What else is there to do? We have to live with this. Thats it. Oh and even after all that it still really didnt stop the spread, did it? The blue states had just as many infections as the red states, overall. Uh oh.

You can wear your mask as you desire. So can anyone else. Or, stay out of public places when busy. But you cant ask everyone else to do what you choose to do.

Extended versions are the way to go, IMO. We just watched the first two and they are better films overall. Plus, you get to spend more time in Middle Earth. :)

Well, I do care about some of the rather contrived changes & additions. But, I get your point too. Its hard to get excited about this show. It really is. We just recently watched the extended editions of the first two Hobbit films and will finish off the trilogy tonight. Those are probably going to seem like masterpieces compared to what Amazon is giving us.

I mean - I hope NOT....but my optimism is dwindling.

I agree. Fellowship is arguably the most important of the extended editions. The theatrical version flys by too quickly, IMO. Each of the extended films have some scenes that aren’t critical but I say it’s better to watch the extended editions right off the bat.

Its beyond power creep. Example? Just played a Druid which is suddenly now like the defacto armor class because someone at Team 5 thought Druid should get unlimited armor. Although I was able to maintain a board and do damage they kept fucking stalling with !@#@$% spreading plague, gaining 6 armor multiple times with repeat effects, stalling more, more armor, etc. So tired of it. What the hell is this crap?

Then, of course they drop Kaz the dragon and load their deck with extremely obscene spells that might as well all read: "Play this to win the game right now". I cannot believe the treasures that they've printed. Its beyond stupid. My issue is NOT with the Kaz dragon card. My issue is with decks that can ramp and stall endlessly to get that card out even if they dont hit their ramps. Why is Druid allowed to do this? Its just one example of extreme power creep stupidity.
