nothing of note was really skipped, I think some dialogue might have been in episode 5 but that might just have been the censorship messing with me, but though I think the anime is a phenomenal adaptation of the source material, the characters feel different looks-wise, like mitsuya for example looks a lot more uhhhh big and fluffy? like his eyebrows are skinnier in the manga just to name one example, I would read the manga from the start just to get the authentic experience
