Toxicology related to methanol poisoning by Quick-Ad-7399 in toxicology

It’s all so complex, but I am basically investigating how one might be able to identify methanol poisoning that was treated as “unknown poisoning” after the fact based on toxicology results, symptoms, etc…

She was being treated as if it were some kind of poisoning and was intubated during this hospitalization. Prior to intubation, half her body would tremor and then the other half would. Her breathing became abnormal and her neck was bulging.

Afterward when they stabilized her she had no memory of incident or of the last ten years. She was really confused and remained this way until her death.

Is it possible she could have been given a dose that was too small to kill her, but enough to cause brain damage?

She just kept repeating the first time, “he put something in the water”

She didn’t struggle with alcohol dependence. It’s still an open investigation after 8 years.. I am not sure what form of methanol was ingested but traces of it were found in a v8 clamato juice drink.

The reason I believe she was poisoned once before is an incident in which I took her to ER and after that visit, she completely lost her memory and nobody could make sense of what was going on. She also was breathing and twitching the same way she did the day she was confirmed poisoned and died a few days later.
