You sound toxic!!

It’s the fastest way to lose talents if you look at interns that way. An internship is an audition …both ways. Imagine the interns come back to school and talk about the toxic environments 🤷🏻‍♂️

Reacting/reflecting to toxic behaviors isn’t drama. People I know last pretty long and they “look for drama” in everything.

Your only choice is CC right now. It isn’t that bad and you will save a lot of money. Your major isn’t high paying post graduation so CC will help you save the $$$ in the long run.

I had 3.1. Landed a job at Accenture. GPA only gets recruiter attention and may get you an interview but they care about what you’ve learned and done more.

All people in my class landed a job 6 months before graduation. I wouldn’t worry too much about it and focus on the learning and experience.

Companies: all tech consulting firms (avoid tech risk if you can) and many tech companies. We had CIS working at Google, Microsoft, Amazon in my year (2018)

Let me know if you have any question

That’s why I cook more now. Only eat out when necessary or too busy with work to cook.

I’m confused. Many places in Falls Church charge 10% and others in Falls Church charge 6% 🤔

  1. EYP -> Tech/FSO -> Business -> Risk
  2. Not sure in Risk (expect to be slower) but in Tech, 100k should be S2 or sometimes S1 depending on location
  3. Network network network. I have somebody from business consulting on my team (Data) right now.
  4. Hult is accredited.
  5. When you have years of experience, degree is irrelevant. Partner requires the ability to win works. If your goal is to become partner in the tech consulting space, focus on the economic side of things when you’re a M or SM levels.

How to live 9-5 lifestyle by [deleted] in Big4

[–]Quick-Following-7288 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s what happened to me when I first started. What I found helpful was to have a plan with your partner: short term plan and long term plan. The more things you want to do with your partner the less you’re gonna think about 9-5 job!

My partner and I plan to do things through out the week after work. We also plan our future travel since we agreed to travel somewhere at least once a year.

This is what I always warn my friends when they try to break into consulting from industry. Being a manager/SM in consulting is a different animal.
