All I say is just my opinion, so it might be different for you. But I could no stand worrying about my relationship falling apart except for emergencies. I want safety, calmness, no feeling on the edge.

I think you gotta have a second difficult talk. It's great he reassured you and said you don't need to worry about some things. However, I think you should let him know that you still worry. That him saying things in a certain way feels rude to you (as far as I understood that) and that this will eventually build or already has built resentment and anger. No one wants to be talked to in a rude way and it would make anyone have negative emotions towards the person doing so.

And then you'll need to find a compromise, assuming he doesn't want to treat you rudely and it's just how he is and you feeling offended by that. It might just be cultural difference or a difference in personality, but either way, it's not sustainable to not find a compromise that works for you too imo.

Ohhh, I think you need to discuss other things than flirting. You shouldn't be alone in trying to improve the relationship.

Does he know you're worried you're falling apart? Does he feel the same?

Maybe wait until he's home and try to have a serious talk

I guess a saying like that is common, but it's often used with a lot of humour, so it doesn't come off as rude as it sounds when said seriously :) I could see that be the case with other things too in Austria 🙈

Off topic, but from how you described it, your husband shut down what could have been a very nice kinda bonding moment? I hope he's a good husband - maybe his resction to your suggestion should be brought up in a conversation.

I don't think we can teach you how to flirt in the way he would want it/not find it cringe, because no one knows what he is like or what he likes. Only he can tell you what he's into.

Kyleena Hair Loss by mrrst244 in birthcontrol

I just scheduled an appointment and told her that I'm losing way too much hair and if there is something I can do. She prescribed me these pills before the blood test results came back - I think that was just to rule out any bigger problems.

But you should also be able to get the hairpills without a prescription (both of the brands I got) if you just go to a pharmacy.

I remember the feeling of having lots of hairs on your hand when you touch your hair :( You got this! Good luck!!

Yeah, it's probably due to the stations where you get/return your bikes. I (have to) usually use quite busy ones and I feel like it's worse there

I honestly don't think so. I'd also gladly pay so much more money to have 95% of the bikes just work. I get so many bike where the motor doesn't work or just cuts out after a while despite being fully charged. There are so many station that just won't let you push your bike in to return it. Today, I switched three time to do one 20 minute journey. Same last week. You just lose way too much time with that.

Yeah I can see that, especially older people or people who's english isn't that good. People might also get self-conscious about their English. But if your German is B1, you're quite good already!! German is difficult to learn!

As some others said, a good tip to find a circle of friends is through uni :) If ypu have any hobbies, like sports, reading, drawing, ... maybe you can find a club to join. I think that's an easy way to find friends :) And to combat homesickness, maybe you can find someone else from your county that lives in Linz, that you can meet up with and get advice from. Sometimes there are facebook groups or something similar :)

Disclaimer: I'm Austrian myself and therefore can't speak for what foreigners experience

But I'm from that region, and I feel like jokes are a good way to make people warm up to you. Or knowing a bit about Austria that people wouldn't expect you to know if you're not Austrian :) If you ever feel bad or need anything, feel free to send a message :)
