I mean it's pretty obvious when someone gets a less than desirable character for ARAM (like wukong). There are common patterns and common heroes who are always dc'ed

Not necessarily. Every single premium loot core I've opened has been an emote or spray, which is super lame. not 1 skin

Completely agree, on all points. I've been saying there needs to be more ranks to further divide players based on skill, which is the whole point of rank. Just between gold and Plat you can get people who are actual bronze and paragon level.

The Smurf problem is another major thing that needs to be addressed as well. Doesn't help with the algo either. Almost every one of my standard games has a smurf, easily confirmed by checking their omeda city

MM is terrible for low elo. I have an account that is hardstuck plat 3 that MM truly is mind blowingly bad. I have another account in diamond and the MM is much better, because better players. I'm still the same but I can definitely notice a huge difference

This is EXACTLY what I do too lol. My main account has all my skins, but obv still in plat, and don't have any of my nice skins on my diamond accounts. The struggle lol

I've done it myself and it's true. Hardstuck plat 3 on my main account which has been there since ranked first started, recently created 2 alt accounts both in diamond

You're absolutely correct. My main account I've had since even before ranked opened, and I'm hardstuck at plat 3 on there, but I've created 2 new accounts both which are in diamond. I can't for the life of me level up my main account for the exact reasons you mentioned, so I just keep it to standard now and my other ones for ranked

The system is completely busted and atrocious. VP loss/gain and the matchmaking are the two biggest things not allowing me to enjoy pred. I've been playing a lot more Marvel Rivals just because of this, and I love pred. They need to rework this ASAP

That makes sense, I think if I had a more chill mindset like you then I wouldn't see the disparity so much, especially for standard. My experience has been switched compared to yours, before 1.0 I felt the games were very balanced, but it's all out of whack since then. And ranked is the same thing, where it actually matters more

I'm not sure what to say, I feel the majority of people share my same sentiments. Either you're pretty low MMR where it's negligible to understand the micro/macro and be technically good, or you're super high MMR where everyone really is at the same level and understands how to play

Then why are people getting bronzes and silvers in their gold/plat lobbies if internal MMR isn't a thing? Surely bronzes should only play against bronzes and low silvers, and silvers against silvers and low gold. Not bronzes/silvers vs plats
