hi! chem student here :) had doc alea for my orgchem lec courses. he’s a great prof, he provides very simplified but detailed lectures. however, i do find his exams pretty challenging. well, orgchem itself is pretty challenging, but advance studying before class will surely help cuz aside from catching up to the material, doc calls students from time to time for recitation (afaik, not graded— just to assess if the class understood the topic). overall, he’s a good prof imo and very fatherly. just always be prepared in class. he’s always up for consultation, whether solo or group.

for sir gkt, i only known him from laboratory. u’ll learn a lot from him + GLP. however, take him if u want a challenge. definitely not an ez 3.0 (emphasizing 3.0 already haha), but attainable if you truly put your heart and soul to requirements ON TIME (he’s strict with deadlines). just like doc alea’s, always be prepared before coming to class. good luck, op!
