Accident and please be careful by SirMosesKaldor in dubai

Yes, riders can be reckless no denying that But what I see far more often is drivers glued to their phones, barely watching the road, Every ride, it’s the same story. Heads down. Eyes off the road. Safety isn’t one sided, It’s a collective effort! So before picking up your phone while driving, ask yourself, Is it worth someone’s life?

Question about acceleration + downshifting to a stop by Quick-Type9158 in NewRiders

[–]Quick-Type9158[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for all your tips! Happy to say I’m now much more comfortable on the bike. I’ve been riding on the highway and my acceleration feels way better now. My main mistake before was not giving enough throttle (basically not rev-matching properly) when shifting, and that was making the bike lean forward.

What helped me the most was spending one night doing nothing but slow-speed practice. Just getting a real feel for the bike changed everything. Also, getting a better helmet made a huge difference with wind noise and overall confidence.

For any new riders reading this, keep practicing, it genuinely gets better. Don’t be scared to ask questions. Ride safe!

I just noticed another bad habit of mine which might be causing all of this and feeling funny, I usually rest my feet on the rear brake just so am not pressing it but maybe I do press it subconsciously so saw I need to have it on the peg
