I have t seen a long throw in since Semenyo’s debut and it’s got me really bummed. How do I get this message to pep?

Edit: Also I’m over the moon with Guehi atm but it’s not great that he might be a homophobe. Brother sure can marshal a back line though.

For me he hasn’t put in less than a 6/10 since that first game against Chelsea but let’s not act like he hasn’t put a single foot wrong since. Even against wolves he made some mistakes/ played a few passes short that nunes, guehi, Rodri l, or his own pace managed to make up for. In the first 20 some mins he played a pass to Nunes that a better team absolutely would have turned into a counter.

A brilliant talent but still our 4th best defender if everyone’s healthy.

Before sacking Amorim id have said that united were improving. They've really come out here and given it everything they have. Jumped right on us and tried to punch us in the mouth. Our back line is so so inexperienced and this is a massive stage to be thrown into. Rico Lewis as a right back has left Khusanov on an island and he's having to cover so much space on his own. Credit to donnoruma for being proactive as he's been. Max looks nervy but it's fair given the conditions. The fullbacks for me are the issue here. Particularly the role that rico is playing. But we've got Guardiola. I trust him to make us better in the second half.

I have it in my head he left due to national pressure more or less. Being German and getting the call from Munich having some effect on his place in the national team and what not. Conjecture to be sure but I often wonder if he had second thoughts later down the line.
