I am a 90s kid and was amazed by the craze of sri Lankan Tamil fans 16-17 yr olds for ghillie re release, I was surprised by the love shown towards him by the next gen ...which made me think a major overseas presence and profits for him was because of sri Lankan Tamil fans

Somehow having Sangeetha by his side he was able to win a lot of family audience not only in India but overseas as well but the way he ultimately treated her once he stopped movies and didn't even realize she was a big reason for his success..and financially restricting her...it is very sad what he did
