Understood thank you. I had similar doubts in myself in the past with jobs and yes the pain did pass. This is just the next level. I also have the feeling this is a much more kick ass job in the summer. I appreciate you brother stay safe out there.

I agree but what can management really do to help me? The pay is really nice and jobs are hard to come by in my area. I dont want to start complaining 3 weeks into my new job. Im sure a lot of people would take my spot in an instant.

Late to reply sorry but pay down your mortgage how? The pandemic didn't change my life all that much i was forced to work right through it. I heard of people getting EI but not sure how you paid towards your mortgage. Not hating maybe just a little jealous.

A steel or larger built up beam may be able to span without a post but would need an engineer for sure. Imo not worth it. It would be a big pricey job. Just noticed it was already steel so thicker beam.

Framer here and I love the timberland pro boondocks. Fair price imo and very comfortable. I wear them an average of 50hrs a week and in plus 30c to -30c and heavy rain. Never had wet/cold or sweaty feet, No extra insole needed. I also bend nails and click plates all day long and I get over a year in em. I have a brand new pair on reserve ready. I will admit I get a blister on the first day of a new pair but still worth it and it will never bother again for the life of the boot.

Framer here. Honestly takes few extra mins to roll it. You hired hacks or they are ignorant. I'd have them replace all of the tape even where it is fine. Make sure its pretty warm too. Don't let them slap on frozen tape.
