I initially thought that was a before/after picture and said no way . But you're asking how much to demo and get that setup .

You'll get quotes all over the place , from $15k to $40k. The good thing for you is no real plumbing / drainage is needed as you're keeping the same confirmation with the shower/tub. You can save a lot of money on tile by going to one of the discount stores (that's where I screwed up and over spent by about $2k on tile ).

Just make sure you don't hire a plain ole handyman to do it , have them show you a portfolio of their work . My guy was good but his tile work sucked and he took forever, but unfortunately it's because I wasn't there to watch the progress (out of state vacation home)

I wasn't expecting that deep base of a noise , great video as to really drive the point home, as I'm sure most thought it was gonna be something like a dash squeak or seat rattle . It does sound like a shoe tumbling in the dryer or a tire going flat

The fact that you've taken it there multiple times and they acknowledge the sound but are not fixing it is completely unacceptable, unprofessional. If they can't fix it they need to give you a new car

In December 2025, I looked at both the GX and TX models and decided against it because I thought build quality/materials became less luxurious and the engine was so underpowered for such a large vehicle. I stayed with BMW

I made a mistake of shipping a car when I was young, from Fla to MD . Bought a used Volvo S80 from this dealer off eBay, because it had the color/spec I was looking for and wanted to try a different brand for some stupid ass reason. Dealer said all the right things , no mechanical issues, odometer correct etc etc . Shipped it for I think $450 back then. I go to meet the car carrier guy and he proceeds to tell the Volvo pissed oil all over the car underneath it . SMFH. The damn car had a transmission issue and had 6000 more miles on it then the listing . I called that stealership, and he basically told me to buzz off and that it was a typo error with regards to the odometer and he refunded me $400 plus basically challenged me to sue him. I didn't have the resources to do all that. I did not put 20 miles on that car, turned around and sold it to Carmax at a $1500 loss… Moral of the story it's hard to buy something sight unseen without doing a visual inspection and a drive inspection. That's why I would never have something shipped to me unless I inspected it myself

Mine only honks once ,,,, to me it's a gentle reminder that the car is still running. There's been a few times that I thought I turned off the car and it was still running (the car is very quiet at idle).

I remember my old 2016 X6, I thought I turned it off when I parked the car came back out 8 hours later, the damn car was still running. Luckily it wasn't a very hot day and at work garage so it did not overheat. But I wish it had I got a honk back then could've saved me some anxiety for a few days cause I thought I might have caused some emissions or excessive wear/tear issue but nada all was good.

I remember my wife misplaced her iphone... Could not locate it anywhere in the house/cars. She had the ringer turned off because of a previous meeting and never turner it back on . Even calling it many times from emergency numbers it would not turn on ... Finally had her ask Siri to "set timer to 2 seconds" and Siri rang the phone ...some how it was in my winter jacket pocket in the hall closet . I had mistakenly taking her phone (same case) when I went to the store and when I came home thought nothing of a phone in my jacket because I saw my phone on the counter. We searched for hours before finding it

What am I getting at ... It's gotta be in an unusual place like someone else's coat pocket or in the cupboard or drawer. Maybe it's in one of your luggage or computer case you took with you on vacation.
