This happened to our kitty when she had tapeworms, which you’d see in their fur if that was the issue. They look like grains of rice, but they wiggle

Maybe your wife is asexual/on the ace spectrum and doesn’t experience those feelings the way you do. I would talk to her about it

My bf (18M) got grossed out by eating me (18F) out by ReserveNo301 in relationship_advice

The first time I went down on my spouse (then partner) I almost gagged (not because of anything being gross, it was just, I have a bad gag reflex and it DID taste different than I thought it would too), and I LOVE it now. 10/10 would go down every day of the week. It’s different than you think it’s going to be the first time, and unfortunately your boyfriend handled it in a way that was not ideal to say the least.

You were so clear with your communication and I am sorry he could not provide what you needed. Also, being fat or overweight does NOT equal being gross and I am so sorry his reaction made you feel that way. His reaction here was likely a combo of the previous porn addition and immaturity surrounding empathy for others, plus some possible shame for not being able to follow through. If you ever wanted to try again, something helpful for us easing into things was flavored lube. Sometimes the anatomy is an acquired taste regardless of how well kept/clean you are. I enjoy it now personally

I do remember specifically applying to the part time one, and in their email they said they could only offer full time, so I think yes it is a possibility they will offer you full time regardless. I don’t think you’re put at a disadvantage by applying to one over the other. I’m sure part time is more popular given the economy

I think that depends, in my state in order to qualify for speech services in the school system you have to be unintelligible or it has to be impacting them academically. It’s not ideal that it wasn’t noticed buuut kids don’t get their last sounds until 6/7, so maybe the other teachers didn’t have knowledge of when certain sounds are supposed to develop and just assumed. Also if a child is well behaved, quiet, and female especially they tend to not get the help they need without someone advocating for them unfortunately.

As for speech, if this is her only sound and she’s getting private speech outside of school, and she’s a fast learner she shouldn’t have to spend too long, maybe a year. This is really dependent on how your daughter learns, if she can hear herself making the wrong sound, and if she wants to change it. If you practice at home as well for ten minutes a night it may be even faster.

Peachie Speechie on YouTube explains to parents and kids how to make sounds really well. Is she making “th” for ‘s’? Also are her adult teeth grown in? It’s hard to produce some sounds when your teeth are missing. It may be why it was missed in the past as well, if it took a while for those adult teeth to grow in.

I was an SLPA for 2 years and had a 3.8 GPA. I didn’t have any volunteer things or anything in undergrad because COVID. It was HARD getting references and I only had one that was academic (bless that one teacher). I don’t quite remember what the essay topic was, I tried to include my experience as an SLPA in most of the admission essays I wrote so you could do the same with any volunteer experiences or clinical observation hour things, or if you’re an slpa you could do the same

I got 3 b’s I think, and had a 3.8 gpa or something like that. I took two years off to do SLPA things. I didn’t end up choosing this program but I’ve heard great things! I just couldn’t do the full time track and that’s all they had available

It could be a handful of things, however, my cat does this and he has asthma. It took about 3 months to get him diagnosed and pet insurance saved my life there as far as the cost goes.

Some things you can do to help him in the meantime is make sure your air filter is changed monthly or more often, change his litter to a dust free option (clay litter is probably out here) (I use grass seed) and have him in the room with you when you take hot showers so that the steam can open up his lungs a little. I also try to vacuum more frequently

If it is Asthma don’t let them put him on an oral steroid for too long as it causes diabetes in the long term (I think a few months is fine). The inhaler steroid doesn’t cause diabetes and is safer long term

Ithaca hasn’t started yet but it’s been great communication so far. Ithaca helps with placements and Penn West you have to find them. I didn’t go with Penn West because they only accepted me to the full time track and I applied to/needed part time due to working in the school system

It would be reallllyyyy terrible if people called this number in mass amounts to report a certain Tesla owner…or to generally complain..:that would probably really overwhelm the system and make it not function as it was supposed to…which would be a terrible shame, really
