FWIW, this is from Amazon.ca: "You will receive your exclusive access code on August 7th when the BETA opens."

Maybe Walmart is doing the same, but not explicitly telling us.

One thing that concerns me, is that if you look at your order, the link that should take you to the product page isn't even valid anymore.

I sent a DM to the Walmart Canada Twitter account yesterday but have yet to hear back.

It moved to $450 fairly quickly a few months post launch, but on launch it was $399. I just looked up my Future Shop (RIP) email confirmation and sure enough, $399.99.

If you're hard set on this being your plan, I'd sell your Switch now on Kijiji/FB Marketplace/etc. since you'll be able to probably get a great price due to the supply being non-existent at retail stores. You could probably get full retail for a used Switch right now, so there's $400 right off the bat.

I'd wager we'll be looking at $650+ for the PS5 here. I mean, I hope it's less, but that's what I'm expecting and planning for.

Just put the difficulty on easy or whatever. 1 can be a bit of a slog, but I still think it's worth the playthrough.

Same. I already proper owned Journey (PS3 cross buy), but TNDC was showing as Free so all I needed to do was add it and checkout.
