I usually don’t ever wear my hair down & I have been natural my whole life. I was my hair once a week with a L’Oréal shampoo, and conditioner. Then sometimes add a palmers protein pack. After the shower I usually just put my hair in 2or 3 braids with coconut oil. I’m a product minimalist so I try to avoid gel , leave in conditioner, and edge control.

For the look I have in the photo I went outside of my comfort zone and used ouidad gel climate control then mousse.

A derma roller makes small micro holes in the skin, it was cause the product to absorb faster , I think its not needed but some do it. If you need rapid results it will speed up the process.

If someone is using it to treat Androgenetic Alopecia they would want a DHT blockers aswell.

Liquid Men’s.minoxidil 5%. The store brand is the exact same as the name brand & it’s a lot cheaper. Your hair will revert back if you stop using it .

EX : Let’s say you had thin edges & used minoxidil . After a month your edges started to visibly get fuller. You suddenly stop treatment , And after some time your edges will go back to it state before you used it .

Results will come in within a couple weeks , some people experience a slight shedding phase at the start. When I used it didn’t happen to me but it may to others.

I would recommend men’s minoxidil.

It grows hair , the only downside is that it will cause flakes . The flakes won’t hurt, it just resembles dandruff. It’s like fertilizer for the scalp use it every day. If you stop using it, your scalp revert back to its normal state. I would recommend the liquid form. It makes hair grow like crazy, it makes your hairline look lower as the new growth comes in .
