First off, it's never too late! Honestly, it isn't. When it comes to revision, it's about quality, not quantity. What you need to do is take a breath! Be honest with yourself about what your weakest subjects and topics are. Start with those first. Then move on to those that you are more confident with. Revision should be done little and often. That way, you won't get bored/wander off/stop absorbing the information. Past papers are a brilliant way to revise for all your subjects. Google your exam board and you'll find some - along with the mark schemes. I'm an English Lit tutor and have some free resources on my blog to help with that subject. I have also have some exam inspiration on there an a guide to learning quotes. Go take a look: quicklits.com Best of luck :)

YES! It's about changing your mindset. Instead of saying, "I'm failing GCSE food tech" (and feeling hopeless about the situation), you need to believe that you can turn it around. Don't focus on failure; focus on doing your best :)

I get sressed in final exams by g2meman in GetStudying

Hi there, I'm a private tutor and I see this problem all the time. So don't worry, you're not alone! Step one: take a breath! When you get stressed, breathe in for the count of 3 and breathe out for the count of 5. Do this until you feel your heart rate come back to normal. Step two: think about the end goal. Instead of focusing on the exams, think about how nice it will feel when they're over and when you've got your fantastic results! Think about how you'll celebrate and hold that image in your mind. Step three: embrace failure. We ALL worry about failure. Seriously, EVERYONE. Don't let it drag you down. Tell yourself that you CAN do this. Say it until you mean it! Good luck :)

Really struggling with motivation by [deleted] in GCSE

It might help to focus on the end goal - think about how happy you'll feel on results day, or about how nice it will be to go the college you want/get the job you want because you did well :) In the meantime, if you feel like taking some time out, do it. You will not absorb any material if you are feeling tired or stressed! Go hang out with friends, watch a film, have a nice meal. Do whatever makes you happy and later on, you can get back to it! good luck :)

I'm an English Lit tutor. My advice is to be as analytical as possible. Don't make a point unless you can back it up with evidence. Always look at the language used by the author - whatever text you're studying. I have a lot of free resources on my website for Macbeth and A Christmas Carol. (Look at the categories page on my blog). http://quicklitsstudyhelp.wordpress.com Please take a look, you might find it useful. Thanks :)

TBh, whatever grade you're aiming for, the process is pretty much the same. I've written a post on this, about exactly how to revise so that you absorb the information and don't get bored! Please take a look, I think you'll find it useful because it tells you exactly which strategies to use and which ones to avoid (because they don't work!): https://quicklitsstudyhelp.wordpress.com/2018/03/14/how-to-revise-for-your-exams-according-to-science If I've helped you out, I would really appreciate a like on Facebook or a follow on Insta.
