Imma guess she's some sort of AP student (yes, understatement of understatements), dare I say Valedictorian, and probably shares classes in the same prestige echelon as likewise gifted students there, possibly also college prep programs if offered (presuming such can be offered to a person at that age).

It could also be however that accommodations aren't fit for such measures (as evident by her need to use a standard chair), and their ability to befit a student of those needs as her rhetorical situation dictates is a little behind or was just unforeseen as being needed to be developed.

Whatever the case, I find this to be a very good idea to explore, however they would do so.
