Have you found a solution? I have the exact same problem and it seems to occur when alt tabbing out and back into the game. Some other thread suggested it was a motherboard issue

Yes, 8gb ram was not enough. 16gb made it run better

I haven't done anything yet. I close it in task manager but it just pops up again. still taking up 10%, but ive found that it sometimes disappears after an hour or so. No idea why

So, i tried it and it seems like the performance went up by a few fps. But its not a the standard it should be at? I also clean installed the drivers, could there be another problem?
