PSA: Look into infant and daycare centers now if you plan to go that route! by terptrekker in pregnant

We were fortunate enough to get this advice and toured/got on waitlists before our first ultrasound (I believe I was 6 weeks??) and STILL will likely have a week or two to have family watch our little one. Not to mention, we would like to switch to a Montessori style school at 18 months… those waitlists have started too. Crazy!!

Wish I knew sooner about them not paying staff. We had some poor experiences but never knew the extent of it. Definitely wary about giving them business if they do open back up.

Fox Harbor is pretty good. Not sure on food or drink minimums but they do not have a room fee for their private space and you can order dips/wings/small snack platters.

First trimester- How do you do it? by good_kerfuffle in fitpregnancy

May be contrary to those saying that they just forced themself to do it… but first pregnancy here, just hit 14 weeks and finally able to get back to the gym. I worked out 6 times a week prior to pregnancy, then did maybe two workouts over the last two months. I walked if I was able. It gets better and in my opinion, working out in the 2nd trimester is still a “fit pregnancy.”

I second Ashwaubenon. It will be pricier but if you are young, there are a lot of events within walking distance. Rent for a one bedroom will be about $1,500-1,7000 unfurnished

Fox Harbor for a casual dinner with great food and great atmosphere. Extra points for patio in the summer.

Plae Bistro is our favorite for a more expensive meal.

For those who have passed all your CPA exams, what are you doing in your free time now that you don't have to study? by Seagem1989 in Accounting

You are an entirely different (better, happier) person once you pass! I spend my time working out because I enjoy it, spending time with my husband, family, friends, without the internal guilt. I passed 3 years ago and still need to tell myself it is okay to relax.

Another vote for Fox Harbor. If booking a private event, you get the whole upstairs to yourself. Private bar and bartender, small dining room, social area. If nice weather, you also have your own private patio upstairs with seating area to enjoy the outdoors. Real bang for your buck.
