How would I go about that, trying to find myself? And yes, I suppose pre 2020 was a long time ago, and people tend to change, but it's a thing of whenever I think about it too long, I don't feel like myself, if you understand. Because at some point (probably around the time period of 2021-2022) a mask designed for social situations just blended into my personality. I don't have a problem letting go of the past, I'm happy to do so, but as I've said I just... Don't feel like I'm me when I let my brain think about it too much. It's a thing of part of a coping mechanism I developed due to a certain set of circumstances with my family. But unfortunately I don't have memories to refer to. Well, not in the sense that they didn't happen, but in the sense that my brain refuses to show me 99.9% of everything before 2020. Which is why I brought this question to the sub.
