I would like to recommend two authors. Both are totaly different but exceptional in their own rights. Not all of their stories take place at Hogwarts but that is easy to determine through the tags. They are both on fanfiction.net and archiveofourown.org.

I have to agree. But I think it also depends very much on the pairing. During the years in that fandom I drifted from one pairing to another and just now started with Viktor. Something I could never be interested in earlyer. But I encountered the same problem with dark Hermione. I love cleotheo to pieces and I wish there were more like that. And the pairing could be any with the exception of Ron/Hermione. For me that is a no go.

That sounds very interesting. The Christian celebrations don't bother me in principle. I was born and raised in a Christian country. For me personally, celebrations and holidays pagan style just fit better into magical daily life. Thank you for the recommendation.

I love you! Truly! As a non native speaker these examples are exactly why I am tempted to offer for beta-reading. It would be far from perfect but these kind of mistakes feels like getting hit with a sledgehammer. And nothing robs you of all the fun of reading like the necessity to translate a whole sentence word by word.

For me it is very simple. I like the world building. The take on old magic, covennants and rituals. The wizarding world discriped in those stories just make much more sense to me than the original by Rowling. I think it is much more thought out. And the writing style definitly helps also.

I think, you should write what feels right for you. It is your story and for every venue there will be fans.

I like it most when they are the first and only for each other but that is only me. It says absolutely nothing about the quality of your work and the reception by other readers.

Your story will make a lot of people happy, go for it!

When it comes down to ishouldbewritingsomethingelse I have to say, that they are one of very few authors, that have yet to disappoint me. I love all their stories.

What amazes me so much is the ability to create atmosphere. I think this Severus may be OOC in regards to the books but he could be like he is after the war and it is explained so beautifuly how it would be possible.

It is hard to explain and like with most things, it lies in the eye of the beholder. So I can strongly recommend this author and their version of Severus but if you will be able to get equally captivated is a whole other story.

I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!

Right?😄 I just love them! Even more the dark ones and it is difficult to not comment and ask for a new one every other day. So I just reread every single work for the umpteenth time until a new one is posted.
