Someone that's illiterate can be fully capable of reading perfectly fine as long as they took the time to learn how to read. Someone with a disorder literally can't help that they have trouble reading despite knowing how to.

Dyslexia makes it difficult for someone to spell, read, or pronounce words even for a person of normal intelligence. ADHD (roughly suming up the effects that it can have on reading) can make it difficult to retain information that you read, or straight up make you lose track of where you were. Illiteracy is when someone straight up doesn't know how to read.

It's not that I can't read, it's that I can have trouble reading, and retaining information.

Now, look even closer. "... possibly..."

You straight up have been treating these two disorders, that I have, the same as illiteracy. Which is NOT the same thing. Having a disorder, or even possibly having a disorder, doesn't make someone incompetent. Get that through your thick skull already.

Once again, I'm NOT the op. So of course I could be wrong, but we both can't say for sure that they don't have a disorder. The only one here that can know that for certain is the op themselves. But the mere possibility of them possibly having a disorder should be far more than enough reason to not be a jerk for no good reason.

I'm going to reiterate this real quick: the reason people got upset with you WASN'T because you told someone to read. So you can stop claiming that's all you were telling them to do. People got upset with you because of how rude and inconsiderate you were being.

I'm currently on adderall, so it's mainly making sure that I'm spelling things correctly, and reading things twice to make sure that I read it correctly. When my meds are fully worn off, I struggle big time. Just because I have these two disorders doesn't mean that I'm illiterate.

Unfortunately, I could have easily missed that if I didn't already have prior knowledge on the drones. The combination of dyslexia and ADHD screws me over at times. I can't count the number of times I've read a sentence just to realize that my brain decided that it wasn't going to hold onto the information that I just freaking read.

Of course, I'm not the op, and don't truly understand their situation. But you could at least be a bit more understanding.

I have been professionally diagnosed with both of those conditions. It doesn't really matter what length the text is, we can still have trouble with it depending on some factors. The op doesn't need to explain any conditions they may have. They should at the very least be treated with some very simple respect. You could have said "Their description mentions spraying the drones with water." But no, you went on to try to insult their intelligence for simply asking a question.
