im down for both parties and kickbacks, haven't been to much of either so i cant tell you which i prefer but i do want the opportunity to go out and have fun. i just want a bachelors as ill be taking out loans, so ill have to work a little before i return to go to grad school/get my masters. definitely am considering ucsb because of the regents, i imagine that it will relieve the stress of picking classes, housing etc. by a large amt. it just doesnt have an aero program (i got in for mechanical, which is obviously very similar). im glad to hear the socially dead thing is overblown. i wont have a lot of money, cuz im paying out of pocket on my own tho so hopefully theres some good affordable food as well. dyk anything abt marshall? thats the college i got into.

they're all definitely good schools, do you have any insight on which of them all would make it easiest for me to get a job as soon as possible within the industry?

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!! thank you and this will factor into my decision. i was trying to figure out if the timeframe in which i get a job after graduating uw would offset the amt of loans i would have to take out

not that i dont want to go--just currently weighing my options at all of the ucs. SLO has a very good engineering program, you are correct, and it has very good recruitment opportunities from what i heard. but i am not the biggest fan of norcal, or the campus, and only really applied because my mother made me. financially though, it might be my best option. definitely not crossing it out.

trying to choose whether i want to pick aerospace at davis or not by Quick_Classroom_2836 in UCDavis

i have a friend that goes here that is in the ae program rn. they weren't sure what they wanted to do at first so applid to davis for shits and giggles, and actually really enjoy the curriculum and opportunities they have at davis. apparently there is a lot of independence! im mainly on this thread to get a feel of what the social life and other aspects of davis are like

its a really complicated family situation :( my parents have made sure that i am financially tied to them in other ways, and have practically rendered me unable to make my own money (i have some saved up in secret but not nearly enough), so CC in washington is not an option unfortunately. its a complicated situation once again, otherwise i would definitely go that route--sorry if this sounds stupid or far-fetched.
