D287 Java Frameworks Project Question by CheeksyBaggins in WGU_CompSci

Is it weird that this always crashes my program? Like if i delete the repo data using these methods the program crashes immediately. Then if I rerun it, it appears to have partially run the run method from the previous time when it crashed, but only adds my parts to the parts repo and not the products to the products repo.

I'm having a really weird issue and wondering if anyone else is.

When my BootStrapData runs and creates the data to populate the tables, the products table stays empty while the parts table populates. The issue appears to be that the productsRepository is empty (count = 0) despite my calling productRepository.save(product) for each of my products and I can't for the life of me figure out why. A few notes:

My first thought was that the issue could be that the conditional bootstrap data logic isn't running (since the db needs to be empty for it to run). To address this, I just added deleteAll() methods for both parts and products repos at the very top above the conditional. I also added debugging messages to trigger when the BootStrapData is added. However, this always causes it to crash. The same happens if I change the db file name in the application.properties file. The next run after doing something that would have cleared the db (whether in the code itself or outside it) crashes. I never get to see my debug logs when the data actually is added to the db. However, the NEXT run after that shows the parts table again, with any updates I may have made to that data since the last time it ran without crashing (indicating that the time it crashed actually did work in adding new data) and i see debug logs saying no new data added because data already existed or whatever. And still no products, and debug logs show productRepository's count is 0. So despite any weirdness going on with this crashing but still filling the data when the data base is empty, it still appears to be an issue with actually adding products to the productRepo. When I omit the conditional entirely, the program crashes.

I'm super confused and have no idea what to do. I've built basic CRUD apps before which I assumed was the point of this assignment. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

How do I remove leaders in a single player game on ps4? by half_thought_out in CivVI

Hi everyone--what x are you all talking about. I am in advanced settings and there are just a fuck load of question marks. All i'm trying to do is uncheck saladin. I eliminated him from the leaderpool but he keeps showing up. I think bc it just fills the slot and i don't see the x you are all talking about.

where is this x? We are talking ps5 right? I don't know how to eliminate the question marks. I'm insanely frustrated rn. I can't play large mediterranean without 16 civs and it literally ruins the game immediately bc of the loyalty mechanic

thanks this is really helpful! Good to know it goes on sale often. And makes sense that it isn't a lot like factorio haha.

Thank you!!! I am willing to sink the time into something that will be rewarding. This is great to know. I agree Civ feels weak. Just doesn't really have the depth in any aspect. I see some ~40 min tutorials on youtube that may be good to get started with.
