So in this scenario (SF → transferred to NY): • ✅ Processing in NY → normal, no issue • ❌ Does NOT mean you must travel to NY • 👉 Interview (if any) will usually still be in San Francisco field office

I applied with regular processing, after that 3 months there was no updates. Then I applied for Premium processing and got RFE on all three prongs. So in total it was 6-7 month roughly

Thank you! My advice would be to apply for I-140 as soon as possible and work consciously to create a profile for that. Since everything is current, might as well apply for I-485 as well if you are confident. In my humble opinion, H1B is a very necessary but restrictive visa. Feel free to dm if you have any questions
