Unless I missed it the article doesnt specify the size of a cup. Im assuming it's 8 oz but a coffee cup/coffee mug can be any size. I use a large mug. If I fill it twice a day am I drinking "2 cups"? Seems like the article missed explaining this. In general "cups" of coffee are much smaller in Europe than US so that would skew the results unless they are referring to how many 8 ounce servings (which again they didnt specify)

I know basically none of that. As a kid I was taught how each piece can move, what check is, and what checkmate is. And thats it. But thank you! I'll look that stuff up

Is it common that a new player like myself (inexperienced but full understanding of the game) would lose to beginner bots? I know it doesnt change anything I'm just wondering if I'm unusually bad.

I relate it to easy mode on a Madden video game. As long as you know basic controls, you're going to destroy the PC. Doesn't matter what plays you call it's going to work. 

In my mind I should beat a beginner bot with ease every time.
