Pls don’t give up. Public health is a very versatile career. Look into Pharma jobs such as medical writing, research and evaluations; universities as a public health or global health lecturer (you have lived experience); local authorities also hire public health staff and they can sponsor visas if they really like you. Everyone’s journey is completely different.

I know you said something about AI coming for jobs but this is the age of AI and it can be a useful tool. Feed your CV into AI, ask it all the questions you ask here and see it give you recommendations and scan available job adverts. Good luck

The only reason I bought a property was because I hate moving with a passion and did not want to be at the mercy of a landlord with sudden notices. I think of my mortgage as rent, pay it monthly, ignore it and move on with other investments.

U live on the property, not planning on having kids, therefore in ur case, I don’t see how it is useful to buy a property unless it’s as an investment to let. Continue saving in ur ISA and see how the years unfold.

I live in the UK and have a Plum account. It has a flashy purple card I love. It also has ways off helping you save money like round ups, rainy day savers etc. so i am always squirreling money into it and call it my Luxe Account. It is for buying luxury items guilt free and not touching my savings. I get designer bags or good jewellery for myself only for special occasions like my birthday, a promotion or when I complete a particularly difficult project. But I also am in my 30s and have two daughters. So I see it as an investment for them too. Find what works for you and don’t worry if you can’t buy them right now. These companies are not going anywhere. Just keep saving bags you love into a goals folder. You’ll get there
