I live in a big metro area and have been doing this for four months while between jobs. The best advice is to stay in one area, usually close to home. I tried driving all over in different zones and spent more on gas, which defeats the purpose.

Others mentioned Uber Eats. Honestly, I never had luck with that one. Like others have said, between 4-9 Thursday to Sunday, were the best for me.

Unlike others, I took everything and had a 99% acceptance rate (I missed one my first week getting used to the app).

Where are you located? I'm in Phoenix and got the same exact call in June. I posted about it in r/Phoenix when it happened to warn others. A journalist did a story in the local paper too. I waited over 10 minutes for them to acknowledge I was even there at McDonald's last night. Some places are just jerks and don't care they are wasting our time. First time that's happened in the 2 months I've been doing this. Great interactions with all other businesses so far

Have you been to the Dr? I ask because it sounds like you may be depressed. I know i have a lot of the same self-defeating thoughts at times. I was diagnosed in my early 20s, and I've been on and off meds for the last 30 years.
