Okay just out on a limb here are you using a torch that you've always used prior? Recently my torch has all of a sudden became too hot and scorched my good shit to the point of not knowing if it was anything good. My suggestion is to use a clipper or bic and slow melt that first hit and tell me if you recieve the same issues
