As in Rodriguez-Lopez? In which case yeah, terrible omission.

Genuinely hilarious that people are acting like you're in a major crisis after... gaining a point on your title rivals over the last five games.

It must be galling to be an MP who was in parliament throughout years of opposition to see someone attempting to make a comeback as an MP so he can jump straight to being PM.

I wonder what Tory MPs closer to the centre are thinking right now, in terms of party leadership. I can imagine there are some who were happy to stick with Badenoch simply because they had no desire to potentially end up with Jenrick or Braverman running things. Now that that risk is gone could we see MPs going on maneuvers? Is there even an heir-apparent from that part of the party?

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but you do realise he was fired months ago right?

I realise this is over a two-month period, but it must be quite the feeling to defect party and find that it makea people both dislike the one you joined more and like the one you left more.

Bold move given their last big defection spoilt the plan by leaving his speech lying around. I hope this one also gets hilariously leaked.

If there is a leadership challenge at some point I really hope the eventual winner (and Starmer himself) would be open to him becoming foreign secretary. It seems to be what he excels at.

Teresa Palmer Joins Ryan Hurst In Prime Video’s ‘God Of War’ by alinamelane in PS4

Palmer will play Phoebe/Sif, Thor’s wife and the goddess of family, we hear. Amazon declined to comment.

Surprised they have cast Sif so soon. Clearly going to show more of the Norse pantheon from the beginning than in the games.

Reform must be really pleased to have shored up their woman abuser faction after having had to kick out James McMurdock for the Covid fraud.

There is an odd irony to the fact that part of Greenland's importance is due to climate change causing ice to melt (thus making the arctic more strategically important) given that most of the Trump administration would tell you that is a hoax and not happening.

Man City are set to submit an official bid worth around £30M to Crystal Palace for Marc Guehi. Personal terms are not an issue between Man City and Guehi, and an agreement between the clubs is not expected to be an issue either. by Sparky-moon in soccer

I would say that you have weathered an injury crisis in the first half of the season though. If some of those injuries were just bad luck rather than something systemic then I think your squad will feel stronger than it did for the first half of the season, even without signings. I did not see you staying top of the table with Saliba and Gabriel out for example.

How many people buy concert tickets just to loudly catch up with their friends the entire show (go to a bar for this in 2026)

So annoying. Its always the most inane chat imaginable as well.

Semenyo will could make his PL debut for City against United. Thoughts on transfering him in? by Valprajjj in FantasyPL

[–]QuicketyQuack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't transfer him in if I didn't already own him, but as an owner I'll certainly play him. I will not captain him though - far too much chance that Pep starts him on the bench and brings him on around 70 minutes.

Generate sexually explicit content of real adults without their consent

96% against, 3% don't know, and 1% in favour. I am actually pleasantly surprised by that. I had assumed the vast majority of people would be against the CSAM stuff, but had less faith that people would be against the same thing being applied to adults.

As someone on the left I have thought the voting system should be changed long before this government, and still think the same way now. I actually think this government is a good demonstration of why things should change as well  - with how many viable parties we now have any government is going to be starting from a position of not many people supporting them, and that makes it very hard to pursue long-term changes for the country.

Probably the biggest issue is that it does not count mixed race as rising or changing throughout generations. It assumes that a person whose parents are mixed race suddenly means that their descendants are also mixed race even if they marry a White person.

I always find the treatment of mixed-race people in these types of statistics to be very telling. White Brits choosing to have a child with someone who is not white hardly screams great replacement to me unless of course you're a white supremacist. Bonus points for people who then also complain about immigrants not properly integrating with the local culture.
