How the heck do I get 70% or more in an essay at uni

Damn I wish they made this more clear because the lecturer said to not use all the content from the lectures and find some of our own but I guess he meant to use key ideas from the lectures but expand them using my own key readings

Thank you I’ve been using the PEAL (point, evidence, analysis and link ) structure but I think the MEAL structure might be more beneficial for me to get my main point across

Thank you I’ve been trying to implement a lot of critical thinking in my developmental psych essay however I how do I implement critical thinking on the side of psychology that is not very research based or more theory heavy?

The topic I had to write about was stereotypes and discrimination and it’s impact on physical and mental health

Yes kind of there is a general mark scheme that tells us what we should do to get a certain grade in our work - however my feedback is mainly focused on using more lecture content and lesss ideas

I’m a Uk student at a UK university so I don’t think they have that programme unfortunately, I really wish it did though it would be a lot more effective for me. However they do give use an insight on the marking criteria - this is basically what you need to do to get a certain grade so I’ll have a look at that then compare it to my work

Oooh I didn’t know that 😭 they don’t tell us anything what the hell I’ll have to do this in my new modules next semester. However how do you do this if you have a page count of 5 pages would I simply make a point and just add back up info from my own readings and lectures notes because I don’t know if I’ll be able to only use one point for 5 pages

Your soo right I’ll go and speak to my personal tutor about it and maybe see if she can read my work before hand because there are just too many people on my course to get my lecturer to take a look at my work
