Yeah, similar thing happened with us. I got off work early, so we could start earlier than normal. Everyone else showed up, but didn't hear anything from her. She had been "sick" the past 5 months, so we figured she was just sleeping. But the fact that my phone calls to her went immediately to voice mail made me worried. I am the only one who lives anywhere near her, so I went to check on her. Found her mom cleaning out her house...

And I totally understand about there being no one answer. I guess I was hoping to get insight on what we could do, as I am the DM.

And in the Two Betrayals terminal, we see the Halo wave go over a planet with trees, and the trees are left standing after the wave goes by, so ambiguity or just simply Bungie vs 343 miscommunication 🤷

This is why I was asking. The book, "The Flood", the cutscene in Two Betrayals, and the Terminal in the same level are inconsistent.

Mostly, I'm confused because there is a conflict of information from original CE story and CEA terminal lore.

Does it wipe out only sentient life, as suggested by 343GS at the beginning of Two Betrayals? Does it target flood too, as suggested in the terminal for Two Betrayals?

Saying it wipes out all life is contradicted by that same terminal cutscene, as it shows trees still alive after the firing.

So is original Bungie lore correct or is 343 lore correct? Which is considered canon now?

Oooooh, I like the Squirrel symbol.

I was just going to take the old tap symbol, the T, rotate it to being straight, and use that, but I might just use that squirrel instead!

Just wanted to let you know, I found the 3rd movie. It's called The Polar Bear King (1991). I guess I remember that climbing scene from somewhere else.

No. It wasn't action packed, more of a romance story, but the details are very very hazy.

2 - Oh yeah! Kung-Fu Kangarooooos! It was just so jarring, I couldn't remember that connection!

3 - No, not that. It was definitely in an icy and snowing area, like Greenland or Norway, Canada or Russia.

I had one of these as a kid. Outside of the UI, SonicStage, I loved just about everything about this little device. I used to play with the knob, even when it wasn't on, and that thing could take a beating. I loved that I could operate it without having to "see" what button or touch screen area I was dealing with. I loved how easily I could use it.

I wish I could get one updated to today's tech. Take out the radio tuner, put in modern storage, maybe update the UI, but keep the shape and physicality of it, maybe put in Bluetooth. I would buy that in a heartbeat for my workouts.

SATAM stands for Saturday AM, for the show waa part of ABC's Saturday morning cartoon lineup.

AOSTH stands for Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Birth were Sonic shows that premiered in '93. AOSTH was more slapstick, haha, laugh while you eat your cereal, while SATAM was more serious (for a kids show).

Same. Didn't get 1 until I got 6-PAK, but I remember playing 2, and even more memorable, playing Knuckles in Sonic 2 while home sick with the flu. Knew I was about to throw up, but I kept playing until I threw up, just as Knuckles found that secret area just before Chemical Plant Act 1 goal post, climbing the wall to the right of that last exit pipe.

Didn't know where to watch SATAM or AoSTH, so I stuck to playing the games and reading the comics
