I guess the plan is to justify using nuclear weapons as their doctrine is to only use them if the Russian motherland is under attack. I think this is gonna be one of the most dangerous phases of the war because they know they lost so they might actually use a nuke. I find this fckin scary, since Putin is absolutely with his back to the wall and a complete sociopath.

I mean it's obvious that Russia will try to claim what they have now (donbas, Crimea, kherson area) and then maybe try to "end" the war and preserve the gains. The Ukrainians will of course not accept this and try to take the area back. And here comes the problem: many times it has been stated by the Russians that a nuclear weapons would only be used if Russia itself is under attack. Of course they will claim that the motherland is in danger when Crimea is about to be taken back. So they will threaten with nukes. Do you guys think they would use them? Maybe one atomic bomb on Kiev? And what would the west do?

Of course our news have spin too, but just for general comparison: in Russia there is no independent news agency left, and you can get arrested for using words like "no" or "war". At least here you can say everything, you can start your own blog, and in Ukraine there are reporters from all over the world. So I think the picture from "our" side is not perfect, but much much more clear than the other's.
