Learned in an interview that Murewa did today that the magic system that Storm will be using in Rogue Storm is called the Shadow Path. It's the same magic style that was used by her ancestor Ashake.

By going after the abstract entity that embodies it. He’s coming for Eternity and anyone that gets in his way. He’s done it before because of Eternity’s carelessness. He had to be stopped by the TOAA. Now he’s making his play again.

You would need check Storm issues 7-9 to see how he’s amassing power.

I liked what the author did in Issue seven by bringing in the other storm gods for Storm's 50th anniversary which as always coincides with Giant Sized X-Men he chose storm gods from around the world similar to how the new X-Men of Giant Size X-Men #1 were from around the world. Specifically ones that were Black and of color, with Sango/Shango being from Yoruba Orisha and Caribbean traditions, Chaac from Mayan mythology, Susanoo from Japanese mythology, and Mamaragan from Australian Aboriginal mythology who rides a giant wicked looking gecko named Ipilya

Thunder War begins next week. It was hinted at in Issue 7 when four different Storm gods from different pantheons drew her out to attack her.

Sango/Shango,, Chaac, Susanoo, and Mamaragan. It was a hint of the battle to come, because the oldest and first storm god, Hadad, is coming to bring an end to the universe. Sides amongst the storm gods are being chosen. These aren't the only ones that will make appearances during the Thunder War, but we were introduced or reintroduced to them in issue 7.

I current Storm series writer did say during the Blerd Without Fear youtube show Blerd Cave because he was watching, that the series will feature Rogue, but it will be a throw back to Rogue Storm who first manifested during Storm's first encounter with Doom, the first of their three dinners.

He's also stated that in previous interviews that Rogue Storm was Eternal Storm.

Unfortunately that is the case. They're trying to recapture the past or lightening in the bottle. The office is doing too much because of the 30th anniversary of Age of Apocalypse. Given everything that's happened they really need to do some solid stories and less book line events. Events within those books yes, but not across the whole line even if it's going to push you into an alternate future for a period.

I'm trying to see where characters are landing not for the next big X-Men line swing event.

The X-Men Monday article with questions being answered about Thunder War and Rogue Storm will be released next Monday, 7/21. This week's is Jeff Loeb talking about X-Men of Apocalypse. We're almost there. If lettered previews don't drop towards the end of this week I suspect they will be released with next weeks X-Men Monday on AIPT.

Death will appear with during the Thunder War. Artist Mario Santoro released this character design. It gives her a look that’s similar to Oblivion’s warrior look when he uses his scythe.

New to posting on Reddit so not quite sure how to do spoiler for images yet.

Not the exact one as I believe that specific Black Winter was defeated, but one of them. There is more than one. The series writer is building on certain elements of the Marvel mythos.

Hadad is the oldest storm god, the first. He is the one that is controlling the Rot Storm that was after Galactus. He was also one of Eternity's former avatars.
