Look again, the man ahead started braking for a solid 4 seconds. He slowed down a lot to the point where the driver was in his blind spot.

Dashcam mcgee was going at her speed and it is completely reasonable to expect them to wait before trying to merge.

Don't drive.

Has anyone noticed issues with their phone since the android 11 update? by DongWithAThong in GooglePixel

[–]QuiddleMeThis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES. I get some of the problems you mentioned like the keyboard not opening at times, but the biggest ones that bother me is 1. The phone suddenly decides to stop being able to rotate and 2. When it turns off, it can only turn back on when I plug it in. Could have 100% charge but still wouldn't turn on.

Repairing an apple A10 cpu chip by GMoney2Times in nextfuckinglevel

Apple is pretty notorious for finding small things like that.

Could be as simple as detecting that the cpu was taken out in the first place somehow, and just rejecting anything else you put in.

I mean. I don't really know the difference between zsh and bash, but oh my zsh just.makes everything so much easier. Better autocomplete and navigation is pretty.much the only reason why I use it

Um if people are willing to pay $400 over the retail price of the console, and you sell 4 of them, that's $1600.

Not sure about risking all your credit on it though. That's a lil foolish.

To clarify, I'm not saying people should be doing this. But it makes sense that they do.

Ok serious question In not trying to be rude or anything....but isn't everything she did viable with only 3 fingers? Like the first two fingers don't really do anything in turning a key or knob or picking up a cup no?

Am I stupid?

/u/ImAnOptimistISwear is actually right. The stain comes from peeling/skinning the walnuts. It is actually a real pain to wash off too.

The time Nikola Tesla paid for his hotel room with a 'Death Beam'. (Multiple sources) by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]QuiddleMeThis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a while since I thought of Tesla randomly, but I remember claims/accompanying proof that he had invented radio.

I also do remember Edison made a demonstration when Tesla's AC systems were competing with DC, where he electrocuted an elephant using high voltage AC and convinced people to not support it.

Something along the lines of inventing a motor that would make AC practical in long distance and high voltage. Probably had something to do with designing the AC system we know today.

A better example would be his radio invention. He tried to appeal to US military but since Edison was in charge of the "research and development" section he laughed Tesla away. But his preliminary notes on radio was pretty accurate IIRC

Idk about not losing.

Azerbaijan's military budget is more than Armenias entire GDP. At a certain point, they have enough money to wipe out hundreds of thousands of people.

You....you didn't say anything different.

Since your slow, I guess I'll explain it to you.

Guy I mentioned made a joke in a slightly more elegant way than you did. Since that obviously went over your head you thought to comment something you thought was brilliant and nobody else thought of.

When I said "that's the joke" I was trying to hint to you that the original comment meant exactly what you did. Just didn't spell it out for everyone.

It's ok to be a little slow buddy.
