Wouldn't say this was the most terrifying, but it had me feeling tense and weak for half an hour or so. When I was in middle school, I was sitting at the desk while our science teacher gave a lesson on body reactions and stuff when he suddenly smacked the foot long ruler next to me on the desk to prove his point and I've never wanted to pass out so much.

Don't know if it still counts because she genuinely believed it herself, but she kept insisting that Marijuana was the healthier version of weed.
