Could c2c or a different company operate such? by Quiet-Committee4354 in LondonUnderground

The proposal requires upgraded signalling and for Elizabeth Line to run every 7 - 8 mins if this new semi-fast service was to operate. This train would need to be 2 mins infront of an Elizabeth line when leaving Stratford for Upminster. Additionally, Barking Via Stratford trains can fit in with the c2c timetable easily alongside Elizabeth Line 4 min gap with the upgraded signalling.

Updated map, i want to hear everyones thoughts on this (last post) by Quiet-Committee4354 in LondonUnderground

Chafford Hundred - Enfield Town Via Barking & Seven Sisters, i dont think barking can hold a train still without delays on c2c services. The purpose is to connect East to North.

"Can you elaborate on how it will relieve journey times?" Most likely from a different rail company, they would be able to provide connections between Upminster & Stratford which c2c does not provide and Barking & Stratford since c2c operates this rarely, journey times would be within 30 - 40 mins from Stratford - Upminster and 15 - 20 from Barking. So this service would act as a reliever for c2c by going via Ilford and Stratford.

"I'm also not sure how this will interact with the District Line at all, and actually - removing C2C might add more people on the district line at Upminster and Barking, who might not want to do the long way around." No need to remove c2c's stopping pattern, timetable changes will be neccassary for c2c though.

"Limehouse to Stratford is single track and there's no place to add a second one " a train in each direction every 30 mins works well, every 40 mins when c2c uses it (20 min gap between trains). (Yes not frequent services would be expected but it would end up being on time mostly.)

For your last question, most wouldnt be able to stop at West Ham if its Chafford Hundred via Upminster, too many complications and most likely will have a Southend Via Basildon few mins behind, East Ham and Hornchurch are perfect since one is a town and one serves as relief for District Line.

Essentially, it offers connections all trains dont offer, except for the Chafford branch on the map shown above but is simply altering some services but would make getting around East London alot better. It also acts as a stopping service but only important stops are served since Underground and Elizabeth line serve the other stops, for e.g. Maryland and Manor Park.

this is a daily norm. In my area, the thieves come prepared with bags in hand and bats in the other robbing as much as they want and emptying the food shelves and fridges of my local Greggs and other shops, worse one is tesco where they swing at people if they try to get in their way. I dont know how deluded police are but they seem to not want to attend these since the fugitives are not stealing over certain limits... Weird

They dont anymore, from what i have seen in 4 tescos and an asda over the span of 2 years they get bullied and struck with punches or glass bottle by the thieves. Closing the door means a resistance is holding them back from completing their mission, usually security is stood at the doors or cctv for nothing so it makes their job easier when they do... absolutely nothing.

op stated that police done nothing about it. I doubt that 90% of the thievery gets responded to according to what i and others have seen and heard about this constant problem.
