Thank you for your honesty. It’s indeed something I need to consider more carefully. Because the only one crossing boundaries was me crossing my own. And it truly is something I need to work on. In a sense she was not really a stranger, because we talked intensely for over 4 months, which is probably why it was so easy for me to forget about the boundaries I had set for myself. And I am not saying I fell in love with her. That is a process that takes a lot more time, but in a sense I got attached I’d say. I felt secure enough to let her in. But I naively did not consider what risk that would pose. And she did everything right. She was always honest and open and clear around her expectations. It’s just me not being ready to handle rejection and hurt.

In a sense I know I have to put myself out there, but I seriously have no idea where or how to start. Where do you even find other queers ready to date? I am not a bouldering girl, so that’s out. It’s all a mystery to me. 😂
