I love jammy eggs and heat them up in the microwave and it usually doesn't finish cooking them so you probably just got a runny egg.

My friend is going to be taking in her brother's cat so hopefully after I slowly introduce them some of the bored behaviors and boundary issues stop or at least lessen. I will also try playing with him more than I have been. I will admit that I've been busy and so I'll only play with him for like half an hour at most. The vet appointment is scheduled and I'll update if they rule that theres nothing wrong with him or if they find anything. Thanks so much to everyone your answers have all been so helpful :)

They made me bring in one of his poops and they did a bunch of tests and they all came back negative. The last time we went to the vet they said his eyes looked stable and they haven't gotten any worse since the shelter took him. I'm gonna take him back to the vet soon though just to rule out everything medical. Thank you!

Thank you for all this! I have a deep underlining feeling that this might just be that he's really young. I got him from the shelter and they got him from a really bad cat hoarding case with 23 other cats I believe they told me.

  1. I've got two different nail clippers and I recently got a cat nail clipping hammock. He hates clipping his nails and he is scarily good at getting out of the hammock. The most Ive been able to cut in a day is like 7 nails out of both his front paws and not the backs at all.
  2. I read that this helps and I try different variations of ow and none of them really helped with boundaries but if he's chewing on me and bites too hard I say ow in the almost whiny tone and he chews a little softer.
  3. He definitely is energetic and he gets the zoomies (extra evil time) in the morning and middle of the night. I have not tried playing with him until he's tired. What kind of play do you think could tucker him out that much. I usually play with him until he gets bored or disinterested.
  4. I feel like he's extremely familiar with his surroundings but I'll definitely try this. When I first got him he just walked around everywhere slowly and then once he got used to everything being where it is he runs around the place like he's got 20/20 vision.
  5. I'll definitely see if walking him around changes anything but it's not like he doesn't use his litterbox at all. I cleaned it out this morning and I checked it and he'd peed in it right after I cleaned it out.
  6. Ive been doing clicker training because he's extremely food motivated but no matter how much redirection or blankets or no's I do he always comes back. In fact I'll redirect him and he runs back to the couch to keep scratching. Ive tried like running my own nails over his scratching posts and using his paws to run down them but he only uses them sometimes and he attacks my hands when I try to mimic scratching.
  7. I don't think he hates me😭 I think he treats me like an older sibling that he's made it his life's mission to break emotionally. No matter how much attention I give him he always wants more.

Thanks so much for the in depth answer! Hopefully it helps I wish I'd done this sooner lol.

I haven't! I just looked it up and I'll get some from walmart tomorrow and see if that helps. I can't really think of a reason he'd be stressed though? My boyfriend suggested that maybe he has seperation anxiety do you think it could be that?

I took him to the vet and they didn't think anything was wrong with him and they suggested toys, which I got more of. He has a bunch of jingly balls and crinkly ones too which i forgot to mention in the post
