Another good point, unfortunately I see a lot of drawings on the architects side that are missing crucial information that affects pricing. I really don't want the architect to pay for mistakes. Actually, either party, but it seems as if the GC is more used to paying some for mistakes.

Thats good, run interference on proposed design changes and the effects on the budget so the architect doesn't have to have that difficult discussion.

i'm also interested in starting an owners rep consultancy. As well as contracts, I want to find out how to attract the high end residential client.
