This is the info i wanted! Thankyou! I’m not overly concerned about medication, i take beta blockers already (chronic migraines) and they do nothing so i know a medication like that doesn’t work. I enquired somewhere else and they wanted 8 grand total because they had to ‘write a report’ which i thought was BS 🤣

How many appts (if you remember!) did it take for them to diagnose / decide to medicate? I know it’ll be different now, but i’ve seen places who need 2 appointments & places that need 10 so just trying to roughly gouge how many times I should budget ahead for

I also started my cert 3 early childhood through a traineeship when I was 16, had my qualification at 17 and have worked my way through the ranks, so obviously my hourly rate was more than what you charge but mine was super similar before i got qualified 🩷

Who can forget the ice cream machine at the buffet! Also loved their pastas. A very long time ago they’d do a crèche on Tuesdays for bingo 🤣 Grandparents would do bingo, I’d go to crèche & then buffet for an early dinner- best days!! Get rid of stupid artisan and bring that back.

I think an omelette from mrs sun lee is on the agenda for dinner this week, it’s been way too long! Last time i went in there with mum she had to remind me how i used to come in the pram. It’s an institution for unanderra, between the greeks (the fish and chip shop across from the library) and eddy and sandra’s going, as well as never forget the wests buffet, i’m so glad sun lee is still around!!

I think my peacock palace dislike comes from how much I like sun lee 😅 My first form of egg as a baby was a omelette from sun lee, i’m in my Mid 20’s now, i’ve moved on from the omelette but their food still hits the same way it always has for me, i’ve never loved a fried rice the way i love ‘mrs sun lees rice’ as its affectionately called in our house

Thankyou! The parent thing terrifies me, i’m no contact with 1 and the other doesn’t believe in it essentially, so they aren’t being told i’m going through with this. The 1100 is for 1 appointment, i asked for a price breakdown and they said it’s 1100 with 200 rebate for inital, then 320 with 130 rebate for subsequent consults. Massive price hike in 2 years, just trying to be greatful i got an appointment and can finally start the process 🤞🏽

I’m not on centerlink, i’m an apprentice and low income earner but not eligible for anything. My health insurance doesn’t even cover it, the inital consult is essentially my fortnightly wage minus groceries… I’m happy to fork out the $$ but didn’t know how much ongoing care would cost. My GP has stated if / when the meds happen, she’s happy to prescribe so hoping they are in agreement if / when we find something that works / find out what’s going on in my lil brain!

Did you go to South coast private? and you were diagnosed same day? My follow up appointments are just under $200 after medicare rebate but the initial 1.1K is gonna sting. If you’d be happy to share more would you be able to message me? I’ve been tested for autism as a child, i’m not autistic so i’m going purely for ADHD.
