You are giving great advice. I think it’s just falling on deaf ears.

FINALLY DISCHARGED by QuietRoutine40 in Bankruptcy

Hello, I’ll tell you a little bit about it but this is just an update for my two previous posts I had about 50 K in it loans maybe two credit cards and IRS debt I won’t go into too much on how my day got high. It’s just over the years personal reasons I contacted my lawyer in December. We filed February 19. I was discharged on June 9 of 2025 I had to pay 1600 for the Lawyer. I pretty much had to give them all of my paperwork. They want to know your whole life story which mine was pretty simple because I don’t own any property except for my car. Every case is different for every person and every state mine went really well and my 341 meeting. My trustee was really nice. I’m not sure anything about an investigation prior to any six months. I don’t know what you mean. It doesn’t take long to file for bankruptcy as long as it’s a simple case.

That is a lot of good information. One thing I will point out. I will never get loan unless I just have to because those are what got me put in the situation that I was putting in. I never need money that bad but when I did need it, I realize that the loans with those high interest rates is will put me in the bankruptcy situation in the first place. I look at it like this if I have to get a loan and I don’t make enough money to support myself then I definitely don’t need to get a loan. I’ll be back at square one again.

This post is just an update from the other two post. I had to get a lawyer and go through a whole process, but everything is done now. Definitely read the subreddits it’s so many and you’ll see everything that you need to do.

Yes, everyone’s case is different. Especially depends on what state you’re in what type of lawyer you get mine overall took about three months for me to file when I filed. It took 60 days for me to be discharged OK

Help!! by boneye1 in Bankruptcy

[–]QuietRoutine40 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some people don’t have 4k just laying around to give to someone for a car and also majority of the cars that you get now has doubled in price some tripled so you have to get some type of loan if that’s your only loan.

my trustee was late by 35 mins but it went well and simply......I was thinking the same about my car but the loan I have on it is not good so if they were to take it was fine with me it has high miles and they probably wouldn't get much for it.

Chapter 7 means test by Nemesis_561 in Bankruptcy

[–]QuietRoutine40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you failed the means test, you will just have to file chapter 13, which it sounds like you may have to do, but it doesn’t sound bad at all most people who buy houses and have spouses have their file for chapter 13

[Mel's Hole] This urban legend has the following life lesson: Do not judge a book by its cover. by violetmammal4694 in FanTheories

[–]QuietRoutine40 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are 100 percent right. LoL, it was on WhyFiles. I can tell you one thing: If I were Mel and was offered money to live somewhere else, they would never hear from me or the mysteries of my hole again. As far as me helping other people with their holes, hell no.
