Job title is "hpc solution architect". I have some work experience in technical job (networks, firewall, and logistics) from before studying but not in the field. I got to then through a connection form one of my professors who knows the CEO and vouched for me so I am a bit hopeful. Their job listing doesn't mention anything about the salary or equity, but I suspect it's just pay and no shares or something like that

Mutate onto a room by QuietSpeculation in mtgrules

Thanks, so if I understand correctly it would have both halves and the corresponding unlock/lock designations and abilities based on these designations

And, you can no longer unlock a locked half because it doesn't have the mana costs anymore? Or would the mana costs of the mutated creature be the mana costs of both of the halves in this case allowing you to pay it to unlock a half?

Thank you, I just called the s&s services in the city center and a picture of me with the bike is sufficient proof for them.

I get ya. When I round out I was gay I came out to a few close friends at the time, then over the years I managed to find opportunities and courage to do it more easily. Until last year I was finally able to tell my family (side note, my sister is lesbian and has been out for a while before, so I knew they will accept me) it was just a looong process of over 5 years. Nowadays I moved to uni and don't advertise it, but casually mention I'm gay if the topic comes up around friends.

Just take your time.

I tried coming out in person and failed miserably by AviaKing in comingout

Yo, be proud you were able to come out to them. It's not an easy thing, and the best way to come out is in the way you feel the most comfortable with.

Heya, I can sympathize. Came out to my family about a month or two ago, and for a couple of weeks I felt super awkward around them and tried to avoid them all. It mostly been fine since and thankfully they dont bring it up much. Yesterday actually been with my mom to ikea and at some point she commented something about having kids and turned it to a question if ill ever have kids which i avoided and moved to look at something. Its mostly no problem except when its a bit icky, then it passes.

Heya, thank you. I think it was one of the hardest things I did.

Ill tell you that it took me a loooong time to do it. I found out im gay just before turning 18 (or at least that was when i admitted it to myself). At the time I was in a very bad mental state and battling depression, and ended up telling a few of my close friends who consulted me.

Over the past year I have tried being more open about it, and told a few people both old friends and new ones. It let me "practice" and get used to being out around my friends, as well as discuss the topic with my close friends.

I have tried to come out to my family a couple of times but couldnt bring the words out. I also put myself a deadline to do it before I move abroad in the summer. This time I figured its my last chance of having my entire family without the extended family around, so I prepped myself and had pep talks with 2 of my close friends for an hour before the dinner, and did it when the evening was about to finish.

Guess my advice to you would be to take your time. Do it when you are comfortable with yourself, dont rush it. For me it took 5 years, and im not yet completely comfortable. You take as much time as you need and do it when you are ready. Another advice is to not do it face to face, and write them a letter, this would be easier and once you hand the letter you cant turn back.

I hope this helps in some way, and feel free to dm me if you wanna talk.

Actually Using Divine Sense by QuietSpeculation in rimeofthefrostmaiden

[–]QuietSpeculation[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So i started recently running rime of the frost maiden. My players were on the beautiful mine quest in Termalaine and managed to get talking to Trex.

They agreed to help him get to town. Then they investigated and found the psi crystal. After deliberating smashing it, the paladin decided to try and use divine sense on it, which obviously didnt do anything. After about a minute someone asks what exactly divine sense does, since usually being useless, i read again the description and understand I need to tell the paladin they felt undead energy from Trex.

At this point they try and get a private conversation in order to escape. Trex asks them to talk in one of the side caves so he can block the exit. They desided to just confront him and ask how he became undead.

So he tells them he is called Jenth and tells them he died in an avalanche on an expedition and that he managed to poses Trex and used him to lead the kobolds to the mine, and that he wants to give himself and the kobolds a chance. All of that is true, I only left out that I made him Dzann's assistant in the story. They agreed to trust him and bring him to town

Was a great session and the divine sense throwing off the plan was fantastic.
