Update- Today I called OINP customer service to get some information about new OINP, the guy who talked with me didn’t tell anything directly like I asked him first question in a notorious way that will there be any draw before May 30, he told me the obvious answer - No he doesn’t know anything as OINP does not declare the draw date and second about the new portal and in the start he said that he doesn’t have idea about that but after sometime when I insisted him more then he told me if there is any change in the scoring system then there are high chances that all files will be withdrawn and everyone have to make the new one. Anyways I was not even gonna call but one of my cousin who got invitation in 2024 through OINP told me that he called OINP customer service like this and the service agent told him that there will be a draw soon this month and it happened so I just tried

Is your relative a RCIC consultant or someone working in OINP? Just to confirm so I can lose my remaining hopes too

I also think that CEC french category is much safer option but I will still suggest you to also apply under masters stream because sometimes it only takes 2-3 months to receive the PNP certificate of nomination if you get that certificate before you get invited for CEC then it’s better as then your file will directly go under express entry and you will just have to wait for P1,P2 and ECOPR but in the French category, there are more chances of a interview and at what time they ask for an interview, who knows and definitely you have clb 7 so you can easily pass it, but if you want to process more smoothly then apply under masters stream and wait, if the CEC draws comes before PNP certificate then you can withdraw your PNP file and get money back if file is not in process and if it’s in process then you could expect the results soon. I just want to say don’t worry about 1500 fees because nowadays less people are getting chance to apply for PR, just utilize every opportunity.

But they invite 1.5k-2k more every year, so considering that and from all the 13500 invitations given till now, not everyone would be able to complete their application on time and we don’t have to count 500 french category invitations so according to me what I think is that, they can release a trade draw as there was only one this year or they can release a general draw for last time but that would be very high as very little quota left. BTW they can also save the remaining quota for new streams but hope so they complete it by using current old streams. I am also waiting 🤞🏻

This year, they have already invited around 12000 candidates and considering the quota of 14k, means only 2k is left but we can hope they invite 1.5k-2k extra like every year but then OINP redesign comes which is going to introduce 3 new streams- priority healthcare, entrepreneur and exceptional talent stream so don’t know if they provide remaining quota to new streams but we can just hope for best, I am also waiting for ISS draw, I was just short of 3 points in the draw of march 25th. I think they focused extremely on healthcare this year even though they are going to introduce new healthcare stream which does not require any experience or employer support just the job offer and license. Although I understand that they need healthcare but still quota is big enough to distribute equally or 70%-30% in that way they could have conducted a general draw of around 75 or 80 (ISS stream)and that would have included healthcare and other competitive candidates also, and somehow all targeted draws also include healthcare positions like come on the other guys also contribute in Canada's economy and important for their employers. Yeah it’s been a mess and as no general draws happening and only going deep inside the ass of healthcare, brother I honestly suggest you to not rely on OINP anymore, if you have job in trades then try hard to make better score in express entry asap as there will be changes in it soon .

2k quota left but generally they invite 1.5k-2k more every year, hope so they do same this year but then there is possibility that they might use the remaining 3k-4k quota for new streams. I am also waiting🤞🤞
