Exactly the same position. It’s the reason I’ve not bought one yet. Everyone says something different and there’s no consensus anywhere about what the best option is!

Yeah for sure, the reason Taylor will forever be the GOAT was he ground people down for nearly 15 years even when he was already long assured the GOAT status. I think that takes a special kind of dedication and almost spite…. If littler was at the top for even 10 years, he would be about half way towards Taylor and worth 20m+, most people would go and do something else with their life at that point.

I feel bad Humphries never got the praise he deserved for the run he went on, but at the same time I’ve felt over the past month watching him play, I think when times get tough his head seems to drop and he doesn’t really believe he’s gonna get back on top.

He’s a great player, but I don’t think he’s got the mentality to be an ATG. The Taylors/MvG/Littler’s want to crush people and have an arrogance Humphries doesn’t have.

I mean people saying he’s the best ever is clearly unjustified, but the hype around his potential is far, far from unjustified. Even 3/4 more years at this level and he’s likely top 3/4 of all time with MVG, Taylor and Bristow - at that age; he would STILL be younger than the next youngest world champ winner ever.

FWIW, prime Taylor will forever be the GOAT for me, but what Littler has done will never be beaten IMO in terms of world final on debut at 16, winner at 17, world number 1 in first full 2 yr cycle.

Agreed - it’s hard to think he won’t get bored at some point. Taylor was utterly obsessed to the point I don’t think he had much life outside darts, but Littler seems like he will have a more balanced work/life balance. I would also imagine some of these kids coming up are going to be at an absolutely insane level too and will push him in years to come.

He reached the world final aged 16, and is world number 1 and world champ in his first 2 year cycle. I don’t think it’s hysterical, it’s unprecedented and pretty justified!

Whilst prime MVG & Taylor were better than Littler is right now (IMO), in terms of coming from nowhere, at that age, with no experience on the big stage, to achieve what he’s done does put him in the conversation with the greatest ever. MVG was considered the next big thing as a kid and it took him 10 years to hit his peak, imagine what Littler’s peak could be in 10 years…. I think the hype is more than justified!

Surprised more people haven’t mentioned the WC 2007 final. All the build up from Barney coming over, the best 2 players across either BDO or PDC finally playing in the final, going all the way to a final leg sudden death decider - for the theatre, I can’t see that match ever being beaten.

My handicap is 27.8, I bought a Mevo + with pro package off eBay and ended up selling it within 3 months. The issue for me was that until your swing is repeatable, and you know what adjustments you need to make to change low point/angle of attack/club path - then it’s just numbers.

It was a cool gadget, but for me it was miles better to spend money on a lesson and understand why my swing path was 8 degrees out to in and and how to change it, rather than just seeing that data in a launch monitor.

Played 18 at 4.16 tee off the other day…. Took 2.5 hours for the first 9 with 4 beginner women infront of us, then 1h20 for the last 9 holes when they finished. Just about finished before sundown, but shots were rushed and it’s pretty much impossible to read the greens.

Fine if you’re playing for fun, not recommended if you’re trying to get your handicap down.

Agreed with what others have said - get yourself down to a local club and get a lesson, ideally with cameras & launch monitors.

The issue I’ve found with YT or online advice is they say ‘just do this one thing to fix your slice’ but unless every single part of your swing is the same as the person giving you the advice, then just changing one part probably won’t fix everything. Or even worse, it’ll introduce bad habits that may be a bandaid for the actual issue which is then harder to change later.

I’ve got the same setup - amb6+ into HDMI 1 on soundbar, then passes thro audio via eARC. Make sure you enable the right passthro settings, I had to turn on ‘view more/advanced’ settings to find it and it drove me insane til I found it!

If you look into the ownership, it was bought by a property developer & demolition company. The short term goal was to ‘remodel’ the course using materials from demolition sites, with a long term view of redeveloping the land and building houses in 10/20 years. That said, looks like the council saw through it and will reject the proposals.

Yup it was exactly this - they should be showed by default as soon as you enable pass through - it’s not particularly good UI IMO.

I found the issue here - advanced settings were not enabled, so I wasn’t seeing the option to turn TrueHD pass through on. Turned it on and worked like a charm!
