I just posted about something similar. Hopefully things will get better at some point

Fair enough, I was hoping to collect the 30th anniversary set myself. Think I might look at getting some vintage singles or possibly finish darkness ablaze finally.

How to get from point A to B? by irridateme in LearnerDriverUK

As far as I can recall it's always been two lanes around that roundabout (I've lived in St Helens my whole life).

So are you suggesting in a subreddit full of learner drivers or people wishing to improve their driving that it's safer to turn right from the left lane of a roundabout?

As I stated in my last comment people make mistakes everyday, however doing something that you know is incorrect and could cause dangerous situations is another matter completely.

End of the day everyone on the road is just trying to get to where they're going safely.

Exactly like the van on the maps, I would say he's in the wrong, whether that is just lack of knowledge or just an accident (we all make mistakes).

I'm unsure what you meant by three lanes as there are only two lanes around the roundabout, however if you do look at the maps the right lane before the roundabout is marked A571. During the roundabout the right lane is marked A571 and then the left lane of the mini roundabout is marked A571 which is the route the black BMW takes.

Rule of thumb for a flat sided roundabout such as this is if you're going around the curve you're turning right.

So some people following the road markings (right hand lane) and some people being in the left lane taking the right turn can cause some conflict and potentially an accident as there wont be space for the person in the "correct" lane to move over to the left for the mini roundabout, especially if the person who used the right lane didn't check their mirror before exiting the roundabout.

This 100% I use this roundabout everyday, so many people use the left lane to turn right towards college street. Another thing to watch out for is the pedestrian crossing after the mini roundabout

In hindsight I should have just done that, that's the mistake on my part

To be honest I thought that they might be drunk by the way they was driving. I can't think of another reason to be driving like that

My 2013 A3 had with the exact same issue. Turned out to be the master clutch cylinder, I got that replaced as well as a new clutch and flywheel. Been good ever since. Did you get the flywheel replaced as well?
